What is going to take to save Africans from themselves? What is going to take to fix democracy in Africa? Is democracy really suitable for the African nations ? If we refer to what happened after elections were held in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Guinee, and Cote d’Ivoire just to name a few, we will come to the conclusion that the leaders are the problem not the people, we will see that the people in those countries  want democracy, but their leaders are not ready to accept and respect the will of their people.

Only the african leaders seem not to understand that ruling is a continuity, only them do not understand that building a nation is not a one man task, it is a step by step efforts involving more than one person. Ten years are enough for any elected leader to prove himself,After ten years, move over, let the people choose another president, a new person with his brand new ideas to build up from where you stopped, and so on, and so forth.

Is there a right formula in democracy? What is the right formula for Africa? Who has it? Why democracy, western style, is not working for Africa? Has anybody ever thought about that? Has anybody ever thought about mapping a way out of the recurrent crisis in Africa each time elections are held?

Democracy is not new to Africa, longtime ago, democracy were practiced everywhere, but the new thing about it now is the failure to take into consideration the african multi ethnicity.

I guess as a firstimer, i am rumbling. All i am trying to say is that democracy, western style, is not working for Africa, there is an urgency for a swift overhaul, if not, no African nation will know sustainable peace.
